The Breech Release
A safe, gentle alternative to the ECV (External Cephalic Version)
For those who:
Have just found out their baby is presenting breech
Have already tried working with a Webster Certified Chiropractor
Have already practiced all the Spinning Babies® techniques
and baby is still breech…
What is the Breech Release?
The Breech Release is a trauma-informed, process-oriented approach utilizing position, gravity, manual soft tissue release, movement, and the placeholder technique to facilitate optimal fetal positioning and spontaneous breech resolution without the use of force. Sessions include counseling on the wisdom of breech presentation (baby’s inside information), delivery options and considerations, hands-on bodywork, positional releases, application of the placeholder technique, and somatic integration.
Benefits include:
reduced stress and tension
improved comfort
increased likelihood of spontaneous breech resolution
confidence in knowing you have options no matter how baby is presenting
Available as a stand alone service for those under the care of another provider.
Radical Birthkeeping: Family-Directed Birth
Alternative support options available for those who are desiring a family-directed birth
If you’ve been leaning towards a Freebirth experience but would prefer “wise woman” care from someone comfortable with and experienced in undisturbed physiological birth….
If you’re wanting a Freebirth but your partner would like someone else there to “take the pressure off” of them….
If you’re super health conscious and prefer to have control of more aspects of how your care is “managed” (I don’t manage women, only my own boundaries)…
If you’re wanting something in-between full midwifery care and doing it all on your own…
If you’ve been told midwifery care has to be all or nothing…
If you’re super private and want to birth at home with support but are not ok with someone all up in your business…
If you have a history of sexual, medical, or birth trauma and would like support while having full control of what your care looks like…
If you’re planning a Freebirth but would like a safe space to be open about your plans with someone who has walked the path….
I might be your lady :)
